January 1st, 2021 will see the release of Toot the Bad Horn, Intro to Music Theory's debut EP. A mixture of house and manipulation of IMT's signature trumpet and trombone playing, the EP borrows influence from the eclectic musical upbringing of Matthew Busch and Matt Waters, touching on Latin American influence from their childhood in Southern California, 20 years of classical influence from performing in orchestras, and a long-instilled fascination with the groove of funk and disco.
